‘WOODYCRIME’ CREW and ‘165th and NELSON’ CREW (INDICTED: thirty seven alleged drug dealers from rival crews in the Highbridge section of the Bronx on charges of conspiracy to sell narcotics, criminal sale and possession of narcotics, attempted murder, assault, criminal possession of a weapon, criminal sale and possession of marijuana, and possession of ammunition following an eleven month long investigation. According to the indictment, the alleged conspiracy occurred between May 10, 2008 and May 10, 2013. )

DEBRA EAGER (CONVICTED: of perjury for testifying falsely while under oath before a Grand Jury. The crime in the indictment occurred on November 21, 2007 when Detective Eager appeared before a grand jury in connection with the arrests of several defendants.  Eager's testimony was starkly contradicted by video surveillance recordings at the location where the arrests occurred on November 17, 2007.)

NOUEL ALBA (INDICTED: charged with a scheme to fraudulently solicit donations for one of the victims of the massacre at The Sandy Hook Elementary School last December. Alba became a target of investigators days after the shootings on December 14, 2012 as soon as it was established that she was unrelated to the Pozner family.)

INDENTITY THEFT RINGS (INDICTED: seventeen individuals on charges of Enterprise Corruption, multiple counts of Grand Larceny, Scheme to Defraud, Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument, and Computer Trespass following a long term investigation into three separate Bronx based identity theft rings that preyed upon victims throughout the United States. The grand jury action was the culmination of an investigation begun by the Office of the Bronx District Attorney in October 2011 after customers with J.P. Morgan/Chase complained to the bank that funds had been withdrawn from their accounts.)

DARYL HEMPHILL (INDICTED: charged with murder in the shooting death of David Pacheco, a 2-year-old toddler who was caught in the crossfire of a gunfight, on Easter Sunday, April 16, 2006. The toddler was struck and killed by a stray bullet while sitting in a child seat in his family’s vehicle at the intersection of Harrison and East Tremont Avenues.)

PETER DITOMMASO (SENTENCED: to 5 years’ probation, 15 hundred hours of community service in the Bronx, and fined $10,000 for lying during testimony before a grand jury. The jury found that DITOMMASO lied under oath on June 15, 2006 during two appearances before the Grand Jury that was investigating payments for repairs and renovations at an apartment that was owned by former New York City Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik.)

BAHSID McLEAN (INDICTED: on charges of murder, manslaughter, and unlawful dissection of the body of a human being. It is alleged in court papers that between 6:00 PM on February 24, 2013 and 9:00 AM February 25, 2013 McLean caused the death of his mother Tanya Byrd, 45, by stabbing her in her apartment at 645 Westchester Avenue.)

REINALDO ROMERO (INDICTED: along with thirteen people that have been charged with selling approximately one hundred and forty illegal firearms, including handguns, assault weapons, bulletproof vests, and high capacity ammunition feeding devices to undercover detectives during the course of two unrelated long term investigations conducted jointly with the New York City Police Department. The first investigation was from April 7, 2011 through November 19, 2012 and a second investigation from January 17, 2012 through January 8, 2013.)
