October 7, 2023: Bronx DA's Office Hosts 6th Annual 5K Run/Walk/Roll to End Domestic Violence
Bronx District Attorney's Office, with sponsorship from the New York Yankees and the Bronx Borough President’s Office, held its 6th annual 5K Run/Walk/Roll to raise awareness and prevent domestic violence. Survivors shared their stories and inspired everyone to speak up about domestic and gender based violence.

April 15, 2023: Bronx DA's Office Hosts 6th Annual Child Safety Fair
The Bronx District Attorney’s Office hosted the 6th Annual Child Safety Fair. Families heard from leading experts on safety issues, including bicycle safety, bullying prevention, tips on staying safe while surfing the Internet, safe sleeping for infants, and safe/unsafe touching. Participants can also obtain a free New York State Safe Child Identification Card. Children enjoyed enjoy food, music, and fun activities.
December 3, 2022: Bronx DA's 'Tree of Angels'
The Bronx District Attorney’s Office Crime Victims Assistance Bureau held the 12th Annual "Tree of Angels" lighting. Families and friends of homicide victims gathered to support each other through the holiday season. They placed angel ornaments on the tree in honor of their loved ones.
October 15, 2022: Bronx DA's Office Holds 5K Run/Walk/Roll to End Domestic Violence
The Bronx District Attorney’s Office held its 5th Annual 5K Run/Walk/Roll to End Domestic Violence on Saturday, October 15, 2022, in partnership with the NY Yankees and the Office of the Bronx Borough President. More than 350 people participated in the event, which included testimonies from survivors. The event also offered information on resources available from the NYPD, the Mayor’s Office to End Domestic and Gender-Based Violence, BronxCare Health System, and the Bronx Women's Bar.
June 4, 2022: Bronx DA's Office Holds 5K Run/Walk/Roll Against Gun Violence
The Bronx District Attorney’s Office held a 5K Run Walk Roll Against Gun Violence Saturday, June 4, 2022, to kick off Gun Violence Awareness Month. More than 200 community members, survivors, and loved ones of homicide victims gathered for the event held on the Concourse.
December 4, 2021: Bronx DA Hosts Annual 'Tree of Angels' Event
The Bronx District Attorney’s Office held it's annual Tree of Angels event on December 4, 2021. Families and friends affected by homicides were invited to commemorate their loved one by placing an ornament with the person's name on the Tree of Angels.
November 6, 2021: Bronx DA Hosts Re-entry Resource Fair
The Bronx District Attorney’s Office held a Bronx Re-Entry Resource Fair for people returning to the community after serving a sentence in jail or prison. Information on employment, housing, and more was provided to atendees.
October 16, 2021: Bronx DA 4th Annual 5K Run/Walk/Roll
The Bronx District Attorney’s Office, in partnership with the New York Yankees and State University of New York (SUNY), held it's 4th annual 5K Run/Walk/Roll to raise awareness and prevent domestic violence on October 16, 2021. More than 300 people registered for the event.

July 9, 2021: NYPD, Bronx DA and NYC DAs Announce Saturday Night Lights Expansion
The NYPD, along with NYC DAs and DA Clark, announced on July 9, 2021 the expansion of the Saturday Night Lights program. SNL will be expanding to 100 gyms across the city, with the Bronx getting 23 sites. The program gives children a safe, free indoor space to play basketball and soccer, instilling teamwork, leadership and a sense of community.
June 4, 2021: Bronx DA Holds A March To End Gun Violence And Resource Fair
The Bronx DA’s Office held a March To End Gun Violence and resource fair on June 4, 2021. The march, which was held in partnership with clergy, community leaders, cure violence groups, elected officials and the NYPD, was held on National Gun Violence Awareness Day in a Bronx area that saw multiple shootings this year.
May 22, 2021: Bronx DA Holds 4th Annual Child Safety fair
The Bronx DA’s Office held it’s 4th Annual Child Safety Fair on May 22, 2021. More than 500 children and parents participated in the outdoor event that included safety tips, food and fun activities.
May 21, 2021: Bronx DA Holds Bronx Rally Against Hate
The Bronx DA's Office held a Bronx Rally Against Hate on May 21, 2021 to show support for the AAPI and Jewish Communities, which have been subject to hate crimes. A resource fair was held after the rally, which included information for victims of hate crimes and how people can support them.
December 5, 2020: Bronx DA Holds Annual Tree of Angels Event
BXDA held it’s annual “Tree of Angels” event dedicated to victims of homicide via Zoom on Saturday. DA Clark placed an angel bearing each victim’s name on the tree as their families and friends participated virtually. Approximately 70 commemorative pieces were hung.
October 26, 2020: Bronx DA and NYPD Hold Gun Buyback
The Office of Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. Clark and the NYPD held a Bronx Gun Buyback event at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Wakefield on October 24, 2020. On that day, 136 guns—mostly revolvers and semi-automatic pistols—were turned in. Seventy-four participants received an iPad, courtesy of the Bronx DA’s Office and the New York Yankees, as well as a cash card.
October 3, 2020: Bronx DA Holds Anti-Violence Town Hall and Reentry/Resource Fair
The Office of Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. Clark held a Anti-Violence Town Hall and Reentry Resource Fair in Belmont on October 3, 2020. DA Clark listened to Bronx residents and answered questions about their concerns. The event also included free COVID-19 testing, and information on re-entry services, hosing, jobs, healthcare and more.
September 2, 2020: Bronx DA Holds Second ‘March to End Gun Violence’
The Office of Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. Clark held another ‘March to End Gun Violence’ on September 2, 2020. The Office--along with the NYPD, clergy, Cure Violence Groups and community leaders--marched to show support for Bronx residents and to encourage witnesses to cooperate with police. There was a resource fair at the end of the march which offered free COVID-19 tests and information on housing, healthcare, jobs and more.

December 15, 2018: Bronx District Attorney's Office Holds “Tree Of Angels” Lighting Event
The Bronx DA’s Office sponsored the eighth annual lighting of the “Tree of Angels.” Family members and friends of homicide victims memorialized their loved ones by placing an angel or other memento on a Christmas tree. The ceremony, organized by the Office’s Crime Victims Assistance Unit, was held on December 15, 2018 at the CVAU’s satellite office.

Bronx District Attorney Clark got together with NYPD officials, elected officials and community members for this year's National Night Out on August 7, 2018. The Bronx District Attorney’s Office was also presented with a $100,000 check from Sen. Jeff Klein to combat auto crimes in the borough.

Prosecutors from the Bronx District Attorney’s Office joined Univision’s “On Your Side” consumer outreach program at the Bronx Museum of the Arts on June 1, 2018. During the event, assistance was offered to those in the community who may have been victimized by immigrant fraud schemes.
April 25, 2018: Denim Day
Bronx DA Clark and staff wore denim to commemorate Sexual Assault Awareness Month. #DenimDay started 19 years ago after a high court in Italy overturned a rape conviction, citing the victim's jeans could not have been removed by her attacker if she had fought him harder.
April 21, 2018: Child Safety Fair
In honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month, BXDA held its second annual Child Safety Fair. Over 300 attendees stopped by Saint Simon Stock School to learn about safety issues from Assistant District Attorneys as well as representatives from participating agencies such as Safe Horizon, the NYPD and FDNY. Children received a free NYPD Child Identification Card and families enjoyed a fun-filled day with games, music and much more.
